History:
The Green Dragon Guild was
Formed in South Bend in 2011.
This name was adopted in homage
To the North end Boston Tavern.
The Green Dragon Tavern was
Presented a license to sell “strong
Drink” in 1714. The tavern was
Sold to St. Andrews Lodge in 1766
Where they met on the first floor.
The basement Tavern was used
By several secret groups the
Sons of Liberty, Boston Committee
Of Correspondence and The North
End Caucus all met there. The Boston
Tea Party was planned their and
Paul Revere was sent from there on
His famous ride. The Tavern
Became know by Historians
As the “Headquarters Of the Revelation”.
Our Purpose
The Green Dragon Guild was formed to
Help organize and direct hospitality. To be lighthearted
And inject mirth and joviality to the task at hand.
To ensure all feel welcome and appreciated for the work they are doing. To project Leadership and uphold proper decorum at all times.
Membership Requirements

No dues but must buy a polo shirt

Member must be willing to work behind the scenes to accomplish the task at hand in a lighthearted and jovial way to ensure all are having a good time.
